Long ago I told Tara that I would make her a pair of Peacock feather earrings. It had been a while since I had made earrings from feathers, so I made a practise round.

Tara, let me know of you would like a pair like this, or perhaps a shinier, shorter pair!

These probably hang about 5 inches, maybe 6. That is turquoise at the top, and the ear hooks are Thai sterling silver.

Sock Monkey Cat Wears Ninja Suit

This was the end product of an afternoon with my talented friend Blythe Church. She initiated me into the lost art of sock monkey assembly.

I decided to make a cat instead of a monkey, and of course, I had to give it to Scott. It had his name written all over it, especially since this guy looks like a sock monkey cat wearing a ninja suit!
